Like most educators, I wanted to make a difference in students' lives. I tried to move the needle. I wanted to prepare students for their future, for college... for life. I didn't, & still don't care if the students love science the way I do (but it is the best). I did want students to appreciate the world around them & understand the importance of critical thinking & problem solving. Trust me, that progress is hard to measure. Standardized test scores & grades are somewhat tangible, but daily growth is hard to see.

The same is true with your finances. You don’t have to love finance the way I do. But, like it or not, money touches nearly every part of our lives. You won’t often see daily progress BUT you can slowly move the needle. And in the long run, it compounds… literally.

Money isn’t everything, but it's not nothing. It's easy to put it off. It's hard to know where to start. Money & finances are intimidating & emotional. That’s where I hope to come in. We’ll learn, we'll identify pain points, we’ll make a plan, we’ll focus on accountability, & we'll develop systems & automations around your values… then you’ll be empowered to do it yourself. They say the best time to start or make a change was yesterday, the next best time is now. It can be life-changing... it has been for me.

There’s a reason I’m not still in the classroom (read the Kids These Days Post). I have a plan for my future. It started a long time ago. It wasn’t easy then, it's not easy now. It involves starting my own business, continuing to learn, & eventually it involves owning more of my own time. I'm even more excited to help other people understand & gain control their finances & future. What are your hopes, values, dreams, & goals?
